If you do not have an account with us and you request access to or deletion of your personal information, there is no reasonable method by which we can verify your identity to the level of certainty required by the CCPA. The reason for this is that Sweede has not linked IP addresses, device identifiers, or other information collected by automated means to named actual persons. Accordingly, if you do not have an account with us, and you request access to or deletion of your personal information, we will not be able to process your request at this time.
In addition, if you ask us to provide you with specific pieces of personal information, we may require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the California resident whose personal information is the subject of the request. If you designate an authorized agent to make an access or deletion request on your behalf (a) we may require you to provide the authorized agent written permission to do so, and (b) for access, correction, limitation and deletion requests, we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Our goal is to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing within the first 45 days period. Any disclosures we provide will cover only the 12-month period preceding the request’s receipt. If reasonably possible, we will provide your Personal Information in a format that is readily usable and should allow you to transmit the information without hindrance. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will provide you with a cost estimate and rationale (taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or taking the action requested) before completing your request. We also reserve the right to deny excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded requests.
